First Walk for Dublin South RTA!

Bhain na “seanóirí” a chuaigh ar an siúlóid ar an gCéadaoin seo chaite an-sult agus taitneamh as an lá a chaitheamar ag spaisteoireacht faoin tuath – agus táimíd go léir beo fós leis an scéal a innsint.  We assembled at the Silver Tassie,Loughlinstown, in large numbers  at 10.30 and  enjoyed a cuppa Coffee / Tea in the Silver Tassie.  We moved off on the walk at 11am and were back at the Silver Tassie at 1pm.  The walk was to the Lead Mines Chimney and back.
Thanks to Tom O’Briain, a branch member for coming along and shooting the video of the trip.  Hopefully this walk will become a feature of the branch and perhaps future walks will also cater for “geriatrics” like me and offer a “low” road and a “shorter” route to the finish!  Our thanks to to Betty Behan for organising the walk.
